For people who read on paper

Pick your book back up.

Bookmarkt is a reading journal for paper books. Scan your bookmark, write a note in one sentence, stay in the chair with a focus timer, and come back to a companion that knows your notes — and nothing past your last page.

Capture in a sentence

Type or dictate a note, a quote, or an important moment. One line is always enough, and every saved word is yours — Bookmarkt never writes your journal for you.

Sit with the book

Pick a book and a sitting length. The Sandglass shows only falling sand until you are done, then asks for the page you reached. Sittings build your reading fitness, streaks, and trophies.

Return without losing the thread

The Book Club retells where you left off from your own notes, deals cue cards from them, and opens short Socratic discussions — all up to your latest entry, never past it.

What stays true

  • Capture is free, forever. Notes, quotes, character maps, the timer, streaks, and trophies cost nothing. The subscription covers the companion only.
  • Your latest entry is the boundary. Nothing Bookmarkt shows or asks reaches past the last page you logged.
  • Your notes stay yours. They are never used to train models, you can export everything, and you can delete your account at any time.

Read more. Finish more.

Bookmarkt is in private testing on Android, with iOS to follow. Leave your name and email and we will write when a place opens.
